2. Data we collect

The site only collects the data you provide voluntarily through the contact form:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Message and project details
• The package you selected

The Kickstarter calculators also collect your email address and the campaign figures you enter (funding goal, average pledge, production and fulfillment costs, advertising budget and the related estimates), so that we can prepare the analysis you asked for.

The ebook download form collects your email address, so that we can give you access to the material and send you related content and communications. For that purpose the address is stored on the email marketing platform Mailchimp (see section 5); you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process the data we collect for the following purposes:

• Replying to your enquiry. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• Tax and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
• Sending marketing communications. Only with your explicit consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

4. How we process the data and how long we keep it

Data is processed with IT and electronic tools, with security measures adequate to prevent unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

Data collected through the contact form is kept for as long as strictly necessary to handle your request and, if a contract follows, for the period required by law (as a rule, 10 years for accounting records).

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent or publish your personal data. We share it only in these cases:

• Providers of technical or support services (for example email, hosting, CRM and form platforms), bound by confidentiality agreements
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, as the provider of the tracking pixel, where you have consented to marketing cookies (see section 7)
• Intuit Inc. (Mailchimp), as the email marketing platform used to deliver the ebook and send related communications, bound by its own data processing terms
• Competent authorities, in the cases provided for by law

6. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data (art. 15 GDPR)
• Ask for inaccurate data to be corrected (art. 16 GDPR)
• Ask for your data to be erased, the right to be forgotten (art. 17 GDPR)
• Ask us to restrict processing (art. 18 GDPR)
• Object to processing (art. 21 GDPR)
• Ask for data portability (art. 20 GDPR)
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal

To exercise your rights, write to the email address in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live.

7. Cookies and tracking tools

Technical cookies. The site uses technical cookies and local storage needed to make the pages work and to remember your cookie preferences. These do not require consent.

Marketing tools (Meta pixel). With your explicit consent, the site uses the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) to measure conversions, build custom audiences and show ads on Meta platforms. Using these tools may involve transferring data to Meta, including outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR. Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

On your first visit a banner lets you accept or decline marketing cookies. Without your consent the pixel is not activated. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

8. Changes to this policy

The controller may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page and the date above will be updated. Please check this page from time to time.
